Micro Minnie - minor issues

Had a GFCI outlet fail this weekend on a Cape May, NJ trip with our Micro Minnie ...had to drive to a local home center for a replacement. Next time we carry a spare. Note to self - add that to the spare parts bin.

One night the Dometic thermostat had to be reset since it was confused about running the furnace or A/C while on shore power. It was actually turning on both. odd. Once reset, it behaved correctly.*

Other than these two minor issues - the 2021 2108 FBS is doing great!

* reset the dometic thermostat stat by pressing the power/mode and ^ buttons simultaneously

Just bought 2021 2108TB. Any suggestions for battery (2) and propane tank (2) locks?

I think someone recently mention drilling a hole in the wingnut holding down the tanks and using a padlock, preventing loosening and removing.

As far as the batteries, IMO, unless you're parked in a bad area, no one is going steal 12V. For your own piece of mind, search Amazon for RV battery boxes.

What is the financial risk of loss? Unless you’re parking your rig overnight in the Bronx, the risk of somebody stealing your propane tanks or batteries is minuscule. And if the unlikely occurs, the cost of replacing the stolen gear is very low. Much higher chance that thieves will just break into your rig and go on a shopping spree. Or snip and steal your cable locked bikes and generator.

The only problem I've had with outlets is not realizing that you need to press your hand against the plate while unplugging things or you can pull the whole thing right out of the wall. I did that twice before I clued in!
