micro minnie antenna

I have a 2020 micro minnie 1800BH. the antenna sucks. i had it at dealer and they replaced booster. can't get any channels below 28 sometimes channel 50. was at a park with no trees and only got channels 28 and above. no local channels. i have the round one on roof. has anyone had trouble with theirs? did you replace with a different antenna? if so what? my old TT had the crank up kind you could turn to get better reception. now they just have these round ones you can't adjust. thanks for any feedback.

I have a 2017 2106FBS, and I find the antenna adequate - similar to a pair of rabbit ears. Mine is directional, and needs to be pointed toward the station that I want to receive, but it does not crank up/down, it can only be rotated. The brand is King and the model is Jack antenna.

Hope that helps!

There is a little button just above the TV next to the 110v AC outlet that is for the signal booster. It turns green when on, turn it on when using the antenna and then off when using the cable. And always perform a channel search when you get to a new location or switch from cable to antenna or vice versa. Have you checked your location for what channels are available? https://www.antennaweb.org/

Hope this helps

I had the same issue going until just this week I noticed a button on the cable connection cover. That's the "cable connection" going to the antenna. I went from finding 0 channels to around 15!

Omni TV antennas are lower gain and more susceptible to picking up reflected "multipath" signals that can destroy Digital TV's ability to lock in. In the analog/rabbit ears days, this would show up as "ghosting". A rotatable directional antenna will always be better. The cheap ($39) flat "pancake" amplified directional antenna stuck in a window works too.
