I tried to put my slide out out when the trailer was plugged in. All other electric powered appliances and lights worked but the slide out wasn’t receiving any power until I attached the battery. Any ideas?? Was unwinterizing the trailer and getting ready for camping season.

Most slide outs operate on 12 volt power and the battery is a part of that circuit in the trailer.
