Very Nice.
How did you pull that off. lol
I have been looking for a narrow dinette and found nothing.

I checked Marketplace, CraigsList, Kijiji classifieds on a daily basis for about 6 weeks before finding the perfect option. Luck of the draw, really.
Sold the couch the next day for $50 more than what I paid for the dinette!

Lucky is right. By the way how was Mable this year. Just got back from Harold Provincial.
The 2106 has a shallow depth, so a 32" seat is max. There are 32" dinettes out there but to find one is a needle in a hay stack. I was going to build my own, but the cost of cushions is through the roof.

I hear you. A decent set of cushions can run $700 just by itself. Keep searching!
Mable was okay the few times we went in the spring. Some noisy neighbours (partying teens from Vancouver) one time, but otherwise alright. We've camped at a few other local provincial parks (Lac Le Jeune being the last one) and have decided that we're done with that, and are going back to wild camping and less people (exactly what I've been doing for the last 20 years). Lac Le Jeune was an utter sh!t show, and that's what prompted the change.
Heading to Arrow Lake next Friday!
I didn't realize your slide out was that narrow. I've got around 46" (or so) of room to work with on mine. That definitely complicates things. You may be able to cut-down a larger dinette - I don't see that being a huge deal. Cushions can be cut down, too. Covers altered by any seamstress. Just an idea.

Yes looking at cutting down cushions too. Was a set in Kelowna, but sold.
Where abouts on the Arrow are you going? Camped that area extensively in my younger years.

Probably either the Burton flats or the rec sites nearby. Not sure of the specific spot for this trip just yet, waiting to hear back from some friends that plan on coming with us. If you know of other great spots on the lake, I'd love to hear about them!
(We've now formally derailed this thread! )

Project Ready for Finishing
Well I finally got motivated to build the dinette for our 2106FBS.
I picked up a used regular size dinette to use for a model and utilize some of the components.
Constructed the new dinette from 1/4" cabinet grade Birch Plywood. A local counter shop had the matching arborite for the table top. I bought the extra cabinet doors from Winnebago when I did the underbed drawer base.
Now to stain the Birch Plywood to come as close as possible to our 2017 2106FBS cabinetry.
Temporarily, we are going to have the old fabric/foam cushions altered to fit the build.
At a later date, we will get custom vinyl cushions made with new foam.
We have looked at the Foam Factory's Site for 5" Polyurethane Foam. So many choices, any suggestions here; the grade of foam for the seat and back rest. Is Dacron Fiberfill wrap a good idea?

Looks good!
Why not put the kerf cuts (for the bends) on the inside of the box, away from view? Would save on having to fill + sand them.
I'm not familiar with grades/types of foam, but I would suggest aiming on the firmer side. Excessively soft seating (and bedding!) result in sore behinds.
What are you planning on using for the table leg/support? I've yet to install mine, and am not sure I want to use the two pedestals that it came with. Some sort of smoother, single-hand-operation setup would be preferable.

Cabinet Grade Birch is pretty tuff. I tried the kerf cuts and soaked in hot water for 24 hours and at one ply left it would not bend to my 4 1/2" Rad. Went with the strips of Birch. Not going to fill, we think the strips gives it character. Initially we were going to wrap in Maple Vinyl wall covering (MacTac), so anything behind in the corner would not be seen.
As for the table legs, would liked to have gone with the new type Winnebago is using. Couple upfront Issues, not sure if there is enough support in the slide wall, Minimum Table length 36" we are 30 1/2"
For your 2108, I think the new style is the way to go.
