I don’t think having a camera or a spotter are mutually exclusive ideas. They both can get you in big trouble. My spotter has managed to miss two trees and an electrical box, and my camera is worthless at night when we pull in late. That said, I use the camera during the daytime as a reality check on my backing up while my wife is distracted talking to Camp hosts or anybody else she could talk to rather than me on the walkie-talkie…
