Thumbs down Ice maker problem

I found out how to fix icemaker in our 1706 FB. I am sure most of yo r ordered This add on when you purchased your Micro Minie. This could help some of you.
I said to my roommate of over 55 years why there was no ice in the freezer, and after a few choice words, I did not see her for a couple days. It took that long for the swelling to go down in my eyes. I now can put water in ice cube trays and place in freezer. Problem solved.
Time for a little humor.

Our minnie did not come with an ice maker nor a dishwasher. Both of those systems are problematic at home so I couldn't imagine they would work any better in an RV.

I carry a small counter top ice maker with me on trips. You put water in it and plug in and it makes ice fairly quickly. We use quite a bit of ice, so I have to add water several times a day, but it is worth the effort as we have more room in the freezer, and its much easier to use. I put it outside in mild weather as the 1706FB has little counter space. The convection toaster is strapped to the table by the window.

Home base is in western Tennessee, but have family in Texas, North Carolina, Utah, Missouri, and East Tennessee but since retirement we can be found most anywhere. Have 7 states yet to camp in, but retired from Air Force, so have to leave the Winnie home when in Australia, Panama, or Europe.
I don't carry the solar anymore since I extended the bumper and added a Honda 3000is. I now carry bicycles instead of a street legal trail bike on the back due to getting older, so had room for the generator. Boondock in Missouri a lot when paddling the Ozark National Scenic Riverways with my brothers. Some don't like retirement and go back to work, however I don't know how I ever had time to work...

A Winnie might not fit in a C130 but would in a C5!

I was in the AF 39 years counting the 30 years in the Air National Guard and I happened to work on avionics on C-130s, C-141s, and C-5s. Without looking up measurements, I suspect it would fit in a C-141. Length would be no problem, but no longer remember for sure about the height or width, however I suspect it would have fit. We started out with a 32' Fleetwood Wilderness 5th wheel but after two downsizes ended up with the Micro Minnie. The wife likes it best of the three, but I miss the extra food of width and having a slide or two, however pulling it is a dream compared to the fifth wheel...

I was unprepared for the noise and cold on my first ride in a C130. Never unprepared again.

Mlitary cargo planes are not built for passenger comfort, however when everything is working properly the newer C-17s are comfortable with a long sleeve shirt, however at times I take that off and just wear a t-shirt. The floor was cold on most of the older planes, and I have not been in a newer C-130 but would think it would be better than the older models.
