Help needed

Been on the road for 4 weeks, all going great. Today we stop at a KOA in Colorado, hook up to the electric, went to put the slide out and we heard a “little pop”. The slide would not go out. ALL of the other electrical items working fine. Checked the fuses, all good. Not sure what to do next. The switch to turn it on also doesn’t light up or work. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

some slide outs allow manual operation, did you try to move the slide out manually? you have have a tool for that

not sure of that is your exact setup.

In 2010 Winnebago purchased the Sunnybrook travel trailer company. The RV you have is more known as a 2014 SunnyBrook Remington Ultra Lite 2100FBS.

Not many of us are going to have much knowledge about what kind of slide mechanism you have, let alone what you need to do to "fix" it.

If I were in this position on this travel trailer I would call an independent RV Tech to come to the TT. They see a LOT of slide issues and the more experienced ones can really go a long way in figuring out what to do.

If you can figure out the type of slide mechanism you have and it's manufacturer you can call them and they will usually try to help with issues like this OR how to manually operate the slide.

He mentioned that it is a 2100FBS and as far as I know Lippert is the only slide mechanism that is used in those.

Good to know. Since it was a 7 year old former Sunnybrook model I have no idea how to determine what kind of slides those came with.

Generally speaking, manual methods for operating slides are retract-only.

I'd want to know if there's voltage at the switch and go from there. The fact the indicator light doesn't come on is troubling. The term "little pop" sounds like the failure of an electrical part, arcing, (possibly the switch itself) as opposed to a major mechanical failure. Knowing where it might have come from would be a big help. Determining if the switch is the culprit isn't too difficult a task if you're familiar with using a multimeter.

I'm not familiar with this brand of slides so I don't know if the switch operates the slide motor directly or via a solenoid, in which case the solenoid could have failed. Lippert probably has schematics and/or troubleshooting guides available.

I'd also like to know how the fuses were checked, sometimes a bad fuse can look good. It's best to check them with a multimeter. It's also possible there is a hidden or missed fuse somewhere.

Here is a drawing of the front end wiring. The push button breaker may have tripped.

Here is a photo of the breaker location. It is located under the Minnie on the left frame.
