Help buying - 2018 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH

I am going to look at a 2018 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BHthat is for sale.
The price is $9000
The dealer says it's like brand new on the inside
I asked why it seems to b underpriced, he said the owner didn't use it much but didn't cover it so the paint is faded
He said his shop buffed a corner area out and it looks like new
He said if someone spent some time on it, they could get it looking good again
He says all the systems seem to b in working order
I would like to check it out and was wondering, what should I be looking at or for?
Does $9000 seem like a good deal?
Thanks for any help or ideas

Remember the dealer is there to sell you the RV while making a profit. It sounds like you have never owned an RV before, if thats correct you may save time and money by having an independent RV inspector look at the unit.

https://nrvia.org/locate/

The list to what to look at and look for could get rather long. I would start with the tires, check mfg date on tires. If close to 7 years old they need to be replaced. Kind of hard to check wheel bearings but if possible want to look at those.

"He says all the systems seem to b in working order". Theres a big difference between seems and are working. You will need to check out the appliances, the ac/furnace. Oh do not forget all the plumbing, have dealer hook up to water check for leaks.

I am sure other folks will come on to add to list. Again an inspection may save you money in the long run.

Good Luck

Dealers lie. And if "seem to be in working order" is his line the word "seem" is a big enough loophole to drive a truck through.

If it was that trivial to get it looking good, the dealer would do it to make more money on it.

As suggested, get it inspected. If the dealer is resistant to allowing that, well that tells you everything you need to know. If you still want to go ahead, google "pdi checklists." The Internet abounds with them.

I would guess the real story is the dealer got it for $6000 or less because it’s got a raft of issues. The appearance thing is just a handy story.

The dealer has no idea what’s working or not, “seems” OK to him.

Does that sound like a good deal to you?

Note, that's NOT a third party inspector. Run, don't walk....
