Hello- I have a 2020 Minnie Winnie 2201DS. The generator I ended up purchasing this item https://www.electricgeneratorsdirect...or/p82562.html
I am one those those idiots that will research the heck out of everything before making a purchase. It literally drives my wife crazy. It's a 3700 watt generator This is a dual fuel generator. In the little over a year a year that I have used it I have had no problems what so ever. I have never used gasoline with this generator. It's runs the 15,000 BTU air conditioner, TV, Fridge etct. Won't run the air conditioner and microwave at the same time. You'll need a minimum 4,200 watt generator to that, and none were worth the cost in my opinion, or were quiet enough.
If using a separate 20lb tank, you'll get about 15-18 hours of run time. If your 2018ds has outside quick coupler you can use an unregulated hose to your primary tank.
National and most State parks require a db limit of 50. The generator runs at about 48 db at full load and about 40 at low load.

Interesting. I have to admit I've never considered the park might have a specified limit, other than a generic "quiet hours" request. I assume this db limit is still intended for the "noisy hours," rather than an exception to run all night long.

Generally It's more like 60-68db, not 50db, otherwise a whole lot of people would be expected to have Honda 2200s. As long as your not obnoxiously loud your good.

You only get 3600 watts from a 30 AMP service, so those extra 600 do not go into the trailer since they exceed the maximum amount for a 30 AMP service. You can use extension cords to run stuff outside with (or even inside the trailer if you add additional 20AMP circuit with an outside attachment point).
A 50 AMP service is 12,000 watts.

I recommend the Firman 3650iR and if you look at the 'I am so glad I purchased in 2018 post' in the General Discussion, you will see at the bottom of that thread, two posts about such a invertor generator. I just bought mine, this very afternoon. It has the best price, for the full range of features, not to mention, a proper 30 amp RV plug in. That's what I recommend to you, and it weighs 100 pounds to lift up, but has wheels and a pull bar for to move along the ground to any location you wish. 3 year warranty, and Costco sells them.

I bought Champion 2500w dual fuel. It’s cheap, but will not run ac without easystart. If weight is a driver, this one is only 39lbs dry. I’ve had difficulty starting on propane. 100lbs too much for me to lift onto tailgate.

That Champion is definitely not easy to get going on propane. What I've found is you need to slow prime-pull about 10-times. Then move the choke just about 90% back to where the "start" position is. Then pull to start, and move choke selector to start after it runs.
Still happy with the unit. Running on propane is so much easier that dealing with gas. And the weight is awesome.
