Door keeps popping open 2021 Micro Minnie 1708FB

2021 1708FB. The door pops open on it's own when parked. I've adjusted the striker plate several times to no avail.



Any suggestions?

I suggest lubricating the bolt with a teflon lube. Make sure it retracts and extends smoothly. Pull it out to do this if needed by removing the four screws. Check for and remove any burrs on the bolt. Clear the opening where the bolt engages if there is any chance that the bolt cannot fully extend. Push the door in firmly from the outside when closing and it should make a solid click.

Take a look inside the receiver of the latch inside the door frame. I had to chisel mine out and readjust the striker plate. Solved this problem.
