Converter in new Micro Minnies
Just wondering if my 2022 2100BH Minnie has a multi-stage converter or just a plain converter? The manual seems to indicate the converter is just a plain one. If that is so can the converter damage the battery due to over charging?

Do you have a power converter that looks anything like this? If so what is the model number?

It's only been one day, not everyone can visit every day. So, hang on and give the OP a chance to respond.

I did respond to Bigbird and BobC by hitting thanks with a small message to both. Hey Bigbird; how to access the converter? I've been busy with a sick dog and other matters. But I do appreciate your response. Hope I do not have to remove a bunch of stuff to find out what model I have. I thought my question was fairly simple and those with lots of Winnebago knowledge would be able to answer my question. I'm a travel trailer newcomer with not much mechanical/engineering knowledge; not to mention I will be in my 80's in a few months.

groger please accept my apology. Sure sorry for your problems. All of the Winnebago trailers that I am familiar with have WFCO converters behind the power panel. Also, I think all WFCO converters have a 3 stage battery charger which is what you want. The model number is in the top left corner of this photo.
Here is where the converter is located. The tray slides out.
Here is a listing of converters and their specs.
I'm not familiar with other brands of converters. Hope this helps

No problem; apology accepted. Thanks for all your help. The next time I'm out to my trailer which won't be for another week I will check this out. Your pictures are very helpful. Have a great camper season. It is still cold here in Nebraska.

Let me know if you have any more questions. It was 92 yesterday in North Central Texas (DFW area).

Wow that is hot. Not looking forward to 90 degree temps but highs in the 40's is getting old here. I will certainly let you know if I have any more questions. Have a good one.

Thanks for the "Thanks". They're nice to get but, for some reason, I don't think I'm always alerted that I've received one. Other posters definitely aren't aware of them so it's always a good idea to post a response so others know what's going on and whether or not you need more info.
Good luck and I think you'll find that your converter has a 3 stage charger and that the model number is easily accessible.

BobC, I didn't receive the "Thanks" that groger mentioned. It is not on this thread. Is it supposed to come by email? I have never noticed this new feature before.
Have a nice day.
Ken

Yes, I too have no idea of how the Thanks messaging works and I’ve worked with this software on a dozen forums for 20 years. There are many smaller subsystems that are mostly ignored like, Profile Messaging, and others that 99% of us never take any notice of.

But, you're name block (or whatever it's called) says you're on the Site Team!
The Thanks messages are found in the User CP, just below the private messages. Essentially it's a PM under a different name. I used to get an email alert like with a PM, but haven't in a while. Maybe there's a bug.

The "name block" is called the "Postbit" I'm not sure why but that's it's name.
I've owned and run forums since 1999. I started working with this software back in 2001 when the first stable version was introduced.
Over the next decade, as other social media like MySpace, Facebook and Wordpress blogs started getting popular, the software company that developed this one (vBulletin) tried to match various features of other social media in an attempt to keep up. So, they added many "features" that really no one uses (blogs, thanks, likes, buddy lists, friends, profile customization, etc) yet these features still exists in the software.
I've not bothered to spend much time with the parts of the program no one uses.
PS. I sold all my Forum Websites and retired in 2017/2018.

Thanks, wow. I had no idea - lots of them there.
I'm sure not many people look at their User CP (User Control Panel) on any kind of regular basis. The software developers thought that page would become everyone's "Home Page" or "Newsfeed" like in Facebook.

BobC I looked here but could not find the thanks message: "The Thanks messages are found in the User CP, just below the private messages." Obviously this is a useless feature. It still goes back to a simple comment is, by far, the best way to go. Takes very little time. Also, creativepart thanks for your comments.
Happy Camping all.

I guess I will stop using "thanks" when I appreciate someone who has responded to one of my threads. Instead of gendering goodwill it had the opposite effect. Everything is okay now but users need to be notified when they receive a "thanks" message. Guess next time I place a thread and receive a response I will just post a reply like Bigbird65 suggests. Have a good one Ken.

Bob I agree with you and Bigbird; next time I will just post a simple response. Thanks again; really appreciate your help. grogers
