Brakes sticking on

I have a 26RBSS that I took out of storage yesterday. I had to rock it back and forth to get it forward like it was in snow which it wasn’t.
I thought later while on the road the brakes might have stuck on for some reason. Has anyone had this issue and what are the solutions?
It is possible it was stuck in the soft soil, but I wouldn’t mind getting more knowledge.
Thanks

I have a truck where with the OEM brake shoes (it has drum rears) the shoes would seize to the drum if it had been raining the last time I drove it. That could happen over a matter of 8 hours! Once it happened while I was at work and parked in an underground parking garage. I had a heck of a time getting them unstuck because the parking garage surface was too slick. Switching to a different shoe fixed the problem.

The difference is your trailer would not have the brakes applied when parked, although it would have been parked for much longer.
