Backup camera question

I have a Micro 2108DS and a Garmin RV785 gps, and want to add a backup camera. Garmin has a wireless camera that will connect with the gps, but the transmitter is not waterproof. Has anyone used this and where does the transmitter go? I see a WiSight bracket on the back, but it’s a wireless camera with its own screen. Could get that but don’t want to have 2 screens on the dash. But thinking I can used the 12v wires from the WiSight connector.
Thanks for any advice

You can definitely use the two wires to power the camera and transmitter. I used them for a Furrion camera that I brought over from my previous trailer. There is nothing behind that WiSight bracket besides a hole in the wall. Depending on how big it is, you might be able to simply tuck the transmitter inside the rear wall. I made a mounting plate for the Furrion out of a black plastic cutting-board (cut to the correct shape). The WiSight mounting holes are spread farther apart than the Furrion holes, so I wanted to cover them up with a mounting plate.
