Auto Level For Minnie Plus?
We are heavy into the shopping stage for our first RV. Due to physical limitations auto leveling like what is available on Class C's made them attractive to us.
BUT.......we really like the idea of a TT much better. DOES Win. make auto leveling a option on the Minnie Plus? That would be huge for us

Yes, I looked at a 2018 25RKS 5th Wheel that had it.

Being available on a 5th wheel is common. Not so much on travel trailers. I was asking about the Minnie Winnie Travel trailer.

And the answer is still no but with enough time and money many things are possible. Ask the dealer that has the unit you are interested in if they could install electric jacks on it. This video may be of interest:

I see on the option list for Minnie Plus they show a level system. I sent Win. the question for a definitive answer. I see where Jayco offers it on their top of the line TT I might try calling Bigfoot Monday to see if they do it.

Our 2018 27 RBDS (Minnie Plus TT) has auto level system.
Honestly I’d rather just have Electric stabilizers since I always have to raise the front end to make the ac condensate drain to the rear.
Maybe this is just a S Florida problem......

I heard back from Josh at Haylett's RV in MI. Their service manager was formerly at Bigfoot. It can be added.
With Spinal Stenosis, Spinal Scoliosis, two herniated, one ruptured disc anything that makes set-up easier is worth it. The other option is a Class C but they seem too confining or a 5th wheel which becomes on the price prohibitive as we would need a larger T.V.
I'm going to try Bigfoot Monday to see what they say. Also want to check with Win. to make sure it doesn't void their warranty.

Either the 27RBDS like you have or the 30RLSS.
How do you like your 27RBDS? Also, do the Minnie Plus have Lippert or Dexter Axles?
Thanks!!

We love our 27RBDS.
Only problem is sleeping arrangements. I wish we had the sleeper sofa instead of the theater seating.
Otherwise love the layout and room it has for a 27’.

I would agree with you on the seating arrangement. For us it will usually be my wife, two Golden Retrievers and as much as possible a couple of Grandkids. When the kids aren't on the sofa and we're away I know Cooper and Boo would enjoy it in our absence
It is great hearing from current owners how they like their Win. Thank you!

Spoke to Bigfoot engineering and they said "No Problem" They have done several Minnie Plus's. He said without a doubt Win. builds everything heavy duty with a excellent frame. He said the longer Trailers like a 30RLS is easier than a short Travel Trailer. He quoted $3,200 for the auto level system (said there's two systems) and $600 to install. A one day job.
Think this just took Grand Design out of the running and put the Minnie Plus in 1st place

You asked about the MINNIE PLUS 5th wheel. Yes, the electrical AUTO leveling system on my Minnie Plus 25RKS (and I think available on all Minnie TTs) was ordered by the dealer directly from Winnebago (factory installed option. Don't let the dealer tell you they can't order it - there's usually a bunch of optioned trailers sitting at the factory waiting to be shipped - actually hauled by some 3rd party truck driver. A couple + thousand dollar option - but ITS A GODSEND! Well worth the price.

If you think you will have issues leveling, you probably don’t want a travel trailer that you need a weight distribution hitch. That’s one of the reasons I went for the fifth wheel, easier faster hitching. If your TT is less than 5,000 pounds than no WDH is needed. Take your time and don’t rely on the dealers,

I would hate to give up the bed space of the truck for the 5th wheel. We intend to put a "topper" on the truck for plenty of storage. Between the large pass through on the Minnie Plus and covered truck bed I would have plenty of room for a good size gen, fuel, tools and all the extra's. Seems that 5th wheels run quite a bit more than TT's.

We bought a 2019 26RBSS and it was an option for an additional 2000 dollars. I declined a ridiculous expense like that. I’ll just use Anderson levelers and save the dough.
