I think we found a great spot for it. It's out of the way, but a very convenient location.
Installing it isn't hard if you have a right angle drill/driver attachment and a drill bit that fits it. It's a pretty tight place. I used a driver with a drill bit to first drill a pilot hole, then used the driver to screw in the screws.
I did use shorter screws (3/4") than what came with the kit as the kit is meant for drywall or wall studs.
