2108FBS Mods

Hi All, new to the forum, picked up our 2108FBS 3 weeks ago in the snow in Orillia, Ontario , here’s some changes we’ve made in the last week,

Put the solar panel into some U channel under the bed (bay doors too small for 100w panel)

Turned the power head, tailgate was hitting it

Camping world Spice rack, used gorilla sticky tape

TPMS amplifier in bay,

Also installed a microair easy start, we have a 2000w generator and can start the airco with it now no problem

Good tips. I think turning my Jack will allow me to open my tailgate also.

I did turn the jack head but then found that the tailgate of my RAM would hit the top of the tongue. I turned the jack head back. If I have to put the tailgate down I have to unhook.

Micro Minnie, could you give more details about turning the jack? I tow with a Tahoe and my rear hatch hits just enough to reverse the hatch and switch on the light on the power head. Did you turn the top control unit on the post? Thanks in advance!
