That is what I did per-emptively 2 years ago after reading about so many failures in the control board. I still have the original board. Also, get a few spare thermal fuses from Amazon. That is another problem point. I am allergic to cold showers but nothing like my wife.

Interestingly enough, I had been reading about the issues with the board and thought the exact same thing. Wouldn't you know, a week into the trip it failed.

If you have an extra $120 to burn, I recommend it. haha
