2106 FBS Micro Minnie

Has anyone ever replaced the couch in the slide out with a dinette.? I would rather have the dinette instead of the couch. Other than that we are really our travel trailer.

Probably not possible if the slide design hasn't changed since 2016.

There is a sheet of 1" plywood that is used as the main support for the couch, the slide and the slide mechanism. The wheel well and sidewall would also be issues. Here are a couple pictures from our 2106DS with the couch and kick plate removed and the wheel well area under the couch.

There was a change in the slide design for the 2018 2106DS and I would assume the FBS as well. Check the outside of the slide out, on the 2018 you will see two sets of tracks, one on the upper part and one on the lower part of the slide out. The setup was changed to use two motors. the older models only used one motor and did not have tracks mounted on the exterior walls of the slide out.
