Clem,
All Micro-mini roofs are made the same. A series of curved wood stringers covered with thin ply and topped with epdm rubber. Your choices in panel mounting are to:
1. Use flexible panels that have two sided tape. There’s a new type of flex panel. You can read my review on this forum. Better than hard panels. Easy to mount, but expensive.
If using hard panels,
2. Use struts mounted to roof with screws. The struts spread out the uplift pressure.
3. Use z-mounts fastened to roof with well nuts
In 2&3 above you must seal the screws with Dicor. Some in the pre-drilled holes, and more over the top of screws and between the roof and whatever is touching it (struts or z-mounts)
Do not be tempted to mount panels to struts attached to roof with two sided tape. That only works for hard roofs like aluminum or glass. Doing that on a rubber roof can allow uplift pressure to tear the roof off.
