2020 2108DS Converter problem

I have a 2020 2108DS with inverter that went dead after first trip. Dealer could not find problem, blamed it on my solar installation. Turned out to be a bad circuit breaker, not a fuse and not the solar. Check you inverter main circuit breaker in your main box.

The Winnie towables come with a CONVERTER, not an inverter/charger like some motorhomes. [Admin Edit for clarity when post was moved]

Pretty sad that your dealer couldn't find the problem. I suspect they saw the solar and defaulted to "blame the customer", rather than actually trying to find the problem.

The charging problem turned out to be a week circuit breaker that would not stay closed under any load. One installed by Winnebago was made in 2017 and is no longer produced. Had to find a use 30/20 instead of the 3015 that came with unit.

I have a pic but it is on my phone and can't get it over to laptop. I could send as attachment to text message on my phone, or try emailing it from my phone. Sorry it took so long to answer. FYI, the breaker is a "miniature" breaker apparently made for RVs.

Simply email the photo from your phone to yourself. Then save it to your laptop's desktop. Then use the Go Advanced post editor here to click the "Paper Clip" icon (see image below) on top of the post format bar and browse to the image saved on your desktop. Click the UPLOAD button once you've selected the image.
