2018 Minnie Plus 31BHDS

Hello, brand new to the forum. Have been researching TT’s for a while now. Narrowed it down to bunkhouse models for our 2 kids. Going back and forth between a Northwoods Nash 29S which I can order locally and this brand new 2018 Winnie 31BHDS about 4hrs away. The Winnie will be about 5-7k cheaper.

From what I have read the construction, materials, and quality on these minnies tends to be pretty good.

Is there any problems that seem to be common with the Minnie pluses? Since it is a 2018, the warranty will start in the day one takes ownership correct? I’m having troubles locating Winnebagos warranty.

I will be towing it with my 2015 F350 crew cab with the 6.2 gasser. Also will be buying an equalizer hitch.

We bought a new 19 26RBSS and used it last summer and all winter in Florida. I don’t know if your model has the sliding barn doors but both of ours needed reinforcement. They were installed with half inch screws and I replaced with nuts and bolts. Other than that it’s been flawless and we lived in it for three months. I’d buy again.

Sounds great! I actually had a change of heart and found a new 2020 Minnie Plus 29DDBH. Heading to Kansas Monday and picking it up Tuesday and camping with it on Thursday.

I really really like the 29DDBH layout.

I live in Minnesota and only about 2.5 hrs from Winnebago headquarters in Iowa. I figured I could take care of any warranty or issues with them there.
