13500 BTU Air Wattage

I did quick test to see the wattage requirement of the 13500 BTU Air Conditioner on my 2020 2306BHS. I found out I can run 2 low cost 2200 watt (1800 Running) generators in parallel in eco mode and the air conditioner compressor starts without problems. I run the refrigerator on gas

Air Cond Fan motor 232 Watts
Air Cond Fan motor & compressor 1431 Watts
Air Cond Fan motor & compressor with Fridge 120 V power 1674 Watts

Yes, the extension cord rated 20 amp & 20 amp breaker on electrical plug. Just a short test.

We have a single Yamaha 2000, and I was concerned that I’d have to buy a 2nd.

Instead I bought a micro-air easy start and have been able to run it off one. It really is a great piece of tech.

Did you have problems running it without the micro-air easy start?

Yes, I could not run the A/C on 2000 alone. What wasn’t shown above is that the startup wattage of the air conditioner is well above 2000 watts.

The first time the system started it works ok, but with subsequent cycles the startup wattage gets higher. I assume this is related to heat.
