2020 Micro Minnie 2405RL 5th Wheel Broken Frame

I have a 2020 2405 RL fifth wheel with a broken frame that resulted in the pin box droppin causing undercover to sag and opening the sseams on the left and right side of trailer which allowed water damage. Initially, Winnebago denied the claim due to water damage, but later came back and denied the claim due to a ‘non-OEM MorRyde rubber cushioned pin box.

I bought the trailer brand new from a dealer with what I believed to have all OEM equipment.

What brand of pin box is on the 2020 2405 RL fifth wheel?

Our 2008 5er came from the factory with a MorRyde pin box, and MorRyde suspension.
I'd be speaking with the selling dealer, if they have proof of what pin box was on the trailer, that should settle things quickly.
update: From what I can find on the internet, it did not come with a MorRyde hitch.
On the other hand, the Moss-Magnuson act says the mfgr must prove the aftermarket hitch caused the damage. I would let MorRyde in on this, they just might help fight your case.

New Update on 2020 2450RL 5th Wheel

Turns out it’s not water damage or the MorRyde hitch that’s was the reason why Winnebago denied my warranty claim. The reason they denied the claim is because of the Anderson ball hitch receiver that is attached to the kingpin. They said having that device attached to the kingpin voids the warranty. Several questions came to mind when they cited that as the reason for denying the claim. One is that a valid reason under the warranty, especially when you read what the warranty says under basic coverage and excluded from basic coverage sections. The Way I read it was that third-party items were not covered. The second question I have is cause and effect. Specifically did the Anderson hitch caused the frame to flex and break. Finally have others experienced this type of problem while using an Anderson hitch?

We have the same unit. Love our Anderson hitch. No issues.
