It decision time! Tomorrow I hope to put down a deposit on a new Class C...Upgrading from a Coachman 26 ft unit.

Looking at a 2008 Access 31J, this is the newer floor plan with bunk beds, but limited external storage.

Just thought I'd put up a quick post to see what if any words of wisdom are available.

Thanks,

I see for '09 there's no Workhorse chassis option. Don't know why.

Overall a 32' Class C scares me, especially with not one but two big slides. CCC has to be VERY small. But that sort of comes with the territory.

Other than that, I do like the look of the layout, but I've never been in one.

Thanks for the information. The deposit is in and as of this Saturday I we will be official Winnebago owners!

I did check out the weights and after 5 adults at 154 and full tanks we have nearly 700 pounds capacity. Actual CCC on this unit was only 200 pounds than my 26 foot Coachman unit with 1 slide.

Thanks,

Good luck with your new 31J, we owned a 31C for several yrs. and it was flawless! We recently upgraded to a class A because we go south for the winter and our Minnie just got to small for us. We still have many fond memories of our 31C and I'm sure you will love yours just as much. Winnebago makes a quality product and we would still own one but my wife loved the floor plan in our new Allegro Bay and being a "smart" man, I knew when to give in! LOL
