Angry Water leak from overhead in cabin

Hello, I posted earlier but no responses. Please help. We have a mystery leak in our 2017 Winnebago View. The water comes into the RV from the overhead in the driver/passenger area. Water seems to be held inside and it pours in all at once when stopping or turning. We've had it in to two repair shops who sealed different areas on roof and where the cab and overhead connect. Still no solution. Any help? How can I get help from Winnebago?

Hi Bob & Sherry,
I wonder if this prior thread would lends some clues:
https://www.winnieowners.com/forums/...on-360183.html
It seems to me that the leak would be coming in from an aft roof vent, and then traveling forward through the air conditioner ducting to the front, where it leaks down into the cabin.

Getting help from Winnebago for a 4-year old coach would require you to go to the factory service center in northern Iowa. And you’d pay an hourly fee for the work. But it would likely be well done. You call to get an appointment or you can show up there and wait for an opening. Obviously, Summer months are the most difficult to get in to receive service.

Winnebago dealers are not “Winnebago” and some are good but many are inferior. All are swamped with too much work. Independent repair people can be a best bet but it’s hit or miss finding a good one.

RV roof sealant ages and cracks and shrinks and should be checked and renewed regularly.

You might check out the “AZ Expert” channel on YouTube. He does a lot of roof inspections and repairs which will give you an idea of what to look for, and how to identify and fix problems.

Best of luck.

Check the clearance lights on the front of the eyebrow. It's common for them to start leaking after a few years. Don't just squirt some goop around them. Remove them and do it properly.
