Water leak bathroom floor

Hello. When I hook up to city water or turn the water pump on, have noticed small collection of water in corner of bathroom floor. This is obviously not good, but wanted to know if anyone had a suggestion about how to start assessing a cause. Picture attached shows small collection of water. Thank you very much.

It probably is the shower plumbing; either hot or cold. Hopefully it is just a loose coupler. Are you out-of-warranty already?

Hi Eagle 5. Thanks for responding. Just to clarify, we didn't use the shower, but maybe you are suggesting that a loose coupler could cause the condition from pressure alone. We are still in warranty, and have started the inquiries for repair. We are on the road, and back at home base tomorrow. Really appreciate your response.

Unscrew those screws in the picture, remove the panel and see if you can see the leak. There’s probably a panel you can remove on the wall in the room on the backside of the shower in the other room to show more of the plumbing going to the backside of the shower faucet.

If there’s a leak at a coupler, pressure can push water out.

I don't know the layout in your unit, but in our View a water leak in the bath turned out to be a problem with the vacuum breaker on the back of our toilet. We had a loose water connection that was dripping, and the water collected at the lowest point on the floor.

CantTakit.....I also have a 2019 22M, out of curiosity I removed the 4 screws and pulled back the panel,(no easy task, panel is under shower lip) Access is limited since this is the platform built for the shower. Only piping I could see was the shower drain, the feed lines appear to be behind the vanity along that wall. I suggest bringing it in for warranty work. Doesn’t appear to be a simple solution or at least nothing I could see

Sorry about your issue. First question I have to ask is: is this leak on the pressured side of the water lines, or the drains? And have you made any use of the bathroom sink - since you said you didn’t use the shower. Do you hear your water pump cycling when no faucet is turned on, as that would indicate the leak is on the pressure side.

I ask this because in my 2018 MW 22M, I had two water line leaks, both on the drain lines, so that they only appeared when I was draining the sinks. The kitchen sink on the left leaked and it was because the large undersink washer seemed to be slightly out of shape when installed. I got a replacement at my hardware store, replaced it an it was fine. (It only dripped into the second drawer under the sink.)

The other leak was on the drain under the bathroom sink. From what I could determine, when the plumbing was being installed, there wasn’t a complete “loop” of ABS adhesive around one of the fittings, and when draining, water would drip out where there wasn’t a total seal. I was able to remove the hand tightened fittings, and put some ABS adhesive all the way around that glued seam, and it’s held ever since.

Have you checked under your bathroom sink for leaks and wetness? I know from long experience that hand tightened fittings can come loose and leak. I’m wondering if something like that is an issue here.

Please post what you find to be the source of the leak.

Look at the inline water filter close to your water pump, the cap could be loose or filter very dirty.
