Water Damage '98 Itasca Spirit

OK, so here I sit 2 years later still the proud owner of this vintage Spirit. I have had several lovely short trips and she is running great. I did have a repair to the roof which stopped big leaks, or so I thought. Because I am unable to travel now I started checking seams and before I knew it I had demolished most of the over cab as it was mostly delaminated, wet and rotted. I will be trying to repair/rebuild by watching youtube videos but would love to hear from anyone with tips on construction materials, supplies and techniques. Or is this worth the investment of time and money?

Well, that is a bummer and it does take lots of thought, lots of muscle work and sweat. But when I was younger, far more broke and far more motivated, I found it worth doing! I did not find it took a terrible amount of money and good thing because I did not have it but I almost totally remade a few corners, floors, and walls but it did all take some time to figure out what, where and how in the days when there was little info and no internet to cross check things.
Far better materials like adhesives and certainly far more info on how to go with the internet.
The results may not have been totally like new but all were good enough for our use and sold at a price we liked after finding we needed more space for more family!
My motivation?
Financial success is not only based on how much money you make, nor how much you spend. It the difference in the two that really counts!
Keep it on the positive side and all the rest is simply details.
