View 24d cover

Greetings, I am in the market for a cover for my Winnebago view 24d. Anybody out there have one? Brand? Thanks, Richard

Save your money and buy tire covers. The rest of the coach doesn't need to be covered as, if you think about it, it is designed to be outdoors in the elements.

If you are really concerned about your coach, covered parking would be better than a cover.

I live with 350 days of sun and I don't bother (or even want) to cover the coach. Tire covers yes, but the rest of it is fine.

Not seen one. The bigger issue is how do you put it on a 14' tall RV with all the warts and bumps on the top?

Yes, hire someone to build a pole barn/ shed for the rig. I don't like covers, they tend to induce ventilation (obvious) issues and condensation is a problem where we live. If you are in a desert environment (extreme low humidity), maybe it would be OK but I'd get a pole barn/shed and park it under cover. It is true that being under a shed cover will extend life of sealants somewhat, even help overall appearance over time.

The commercial covers from places like Camping World seem to be made of a kind of Tyvek material. I bought one a number of years ago and it disintegrated in about 2 years. Not worth it. Just try to keep your unit clean and apply a good wax a couple of times a year. Or better yet pay someone else to wax it for you!
