Yes I did move the flange. There is a flange sold by Lowes that actually offsets the position. I removed existing flange and had to cut the floor under the toilet for the new flange that moved it out about 1.5 inches. This required me to add wood under the floor where the old hole was located. This made the entire process of adding a porcelan toilet doable. If you join the Vita and Porto wannebees site on FB I posted pictures of my install.

Sorry about being so late in reply. I've included a picture of my toilet in the original flange and the back with the water line disconnected. Eventually I'll get around to replacing the small paneling pieces, but they are hidden from view. It is tight behind doing it this way so I loosen the flange nuts and tip the toilet slightly to make it easier to screw the water hose back on.
