TV audio

I’m a Newbie owner of 2021 Spirit. And I just want to watch a dvd. I can see it on the TV above the cab, but there is no sound —and yes, I checked the HDMI connection, the volume using both the remote and buttons on the TV, and the mute button. I then turned on the TV in the bedroom slide out, and found the dvd playing there with both sound and audio.

Any ideas why the bunk TV has no sound?

How are these two TV’s linked? Can you use them independently?

I’ve read every word in the manuals, but found nothing that helped.

Many thanks in advance for help!

I remember reading a prior post about a similar thing, and it was a bad HDMI cable. Another thing to check is to see if someone left a set of headphone plugged into audio output jack. Also, when viewing over-the-air TV, is there still no sound?
I believe the two TVs can "sample" the built-in TV antenna or the DVD player.

Thank you for responding. I was thinking the same about a bad HDMI cable. We bought Minnie new two months ago, so no headphones. I’m going to call the dealer.
I haven’t been able to get any over the air stations yet .

Did you press the little button to activate the antenna? Also, you need to tell the TV to "learn" the stations.

The same thing baffled me too at first. I asked another camper how to do it!
