Trouble filling propane tank 2019 Minnie Winnie 22M
I am having an issue with filling my tank. This is the 1st time I have ever had to get it filled since purchased new. Brought it to 2 different fill stations and both stations are having the same issue. The nozzle will not seal. Propane leaks out while trying to fill. There seems to be a hole in the fitting bit it appears to precise to be a break. Does anyone else have the same issue with there fitting if they look at it. See attached pictures.
Before I waste my time going back to dealership and waiting 3 weeks
Thanks

I guess I answered my own question. Looking into Manchester Propane Tanks the valve does have that hole in it. Looks like my issue is with the filler valve itself, either being stuck or faulty.
I guess it is a call to dealer unless anyone has had history on replacing valve
Thanks

Forget the dealer, go to a local, full-service propane shop. They'll have more experience in diagnosing and fixing the problem and can do so with minimal delay. Hopefully your tank is empty but, even if not, they'll be able to deal with it.
I don't think it would be too expensive of a fix.

Thanks. I agree with not going to dealer but the issue I am having is finding a full service propane dealer. Most places just fill, I have called 3 large places within 30 miles and they will not service it.
The cost I am not concerned about, but I can’t find anyone.
My appointment with RV dealer is 8/9. The best they could do, 1 month. I Have a 5 year extended warranty, let’s seee how that goes.

The replacement valve that you pictured has a rubber ring/washer on the inside. Your valve seems to be missing that washer. Maybe you can just replace the rubber ring/washer and get a good seal?

I think this might be the valve gasket you need - but I'd double check if I were you because I am not at all sure:
https://propanegear.com/1-3-4-propan...gasket-3-pack/
Surely, Eastern Propane or Amerigas in Lynnfield can fix this for you if you drive the RV to them. Are those the "big" places you checked already?
Taking this to the dealer is the last thing I'd do. And, what what are the chances that your Extended Service Contract covers that valve? Besides, what is your deductible for that Service Contract???

Bones2003 is right. I looked at a number of photos of these fittings online and all have that rubber gasket. By the way, the fittings are 1 3/4" Acme valves. The gaskets are also available via Amazon.
I'd think that a decent fill station (maybe not one at a gas station) would have looked, said "you need a rubber gasket" and installed one. I'd make some more calls asking if they have them.

From what I see, the places you took it to are incompetent. The person filling should have checked and noticed the missing sealing washer. Especially so when the leaking was noticed. They see those things every day.

Yes. I agree with everyone, it appears I am missing the gasket at the base of the threads in order for the fitting to seal. I then called the parts counter at Campers Inn and they told me that they have the gaskets in stock.
As far as local Propane suppliers, even the big places like Eastern Propane and others do not service tanks. I made a bunch of calls.
I will also order extra gaskets on line Not sure if I ever had one to begin with
Thanks All
