There are a number of videos on YouTube on this process. Mostly, they say to run the side out and in and out and in.
What you show in your photo doesn't look very unusual. So, at this point I wouldn't worry.
Here's what I do to keep my sides somewhat aligned.
1. When putting the slide out do not stop mid-way. Make sure to go all the way out.
2. When the slide stops KEEP HOLDING the extend button. If it has a whinning noise, great. That's the motor's torquing out. Keep holding the button. Until you hear a CLICK from the motors. That's them syncing up. Release the button.
3. Push the extend button again and hold it. If you hear the motors start up and click. Good! Release and do that again. Do it until pushing the extend button has no effect on the slide. On my RV sometimes that's once... sometimes that's 3 times, etc.
4. Do the same on retraction.
These motors and the slide controller count revolutions. They are made to torque out and stop. And, they click when they are synced up from side to side.
Winnebago says to do the extend retract quickly and just a little - but the method I put above works best for me. The quick out and in never synced my slice motors.
