Seating upgrade
Looking to replace the couch/bed in our 2016 View 24v with either a reclining loveseat or two reclining chairs. Can't find any that fit the space. Has anyone had any luck with this? I need a handle control or power lift for medical reasons.
Also, would it be better to get an upgraded chair for the upfront passenger seat that can recline.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Seating upgrade
Thank you Winterbagoal, but I've been there-done that. The problem is finding a recliner that will fit in the small space. The specs say it's 50" w, but our measurement says a little wider. Also need short wall clearance.
Was hoping someone with the same RV unit had found the right size.
I did find new websites to investigate so, it's off to work I go....
Thanks again.

It has been done before, was my point.
Be patient and maybe someone who has done it will chime in.
Also, try posting your question to iRV2, RVNET, and Sprinter Source websites for broader coverage.

Seating upgrade
Thanks again Winterbagaol. I'll try that website.
Btw, we have done this before, on a Thor Vegas and it worked out great. That had a much wider space and we found the perfect loveseat in a local furniture store.
No such luck this time. That's why we wondered if maybe it would be easier to upgrade the front passenger seat.
Happy trails to you.....

No problem. U2.
p.s. I think there's a thread on Sprinter Source about a software fix for the newer Sprinter driver/passenger seats and their power recline function. Something to do with the cab chassis limiting the amount of recline, based on commercial applications. The fix was a product of an owner chasing down MB to get a fix for it when there's no wall behind the two seats, as there is in a panel or other commercial van.
The reason I mention this is, budget permitting, there are power reclining driver/passenger seats available as OEM MB equipment, that might be retrofitted into your 2016 chassis. Maybe? FYI.

Seating
We have a 30' Winnebago Itasca that previous owners had removed the dinette. We purchased a 53" wall hugger reclining love seat and it fit into our slide. We went to a local furniture store and had them look in their on-line catalog. Has the side mechanism for the foot rest. We have two small folding tables that fit right between the arm and the wall when the slide is out. Works great!!

Talk with lambright comforts chairs. They manufacture and install RV furniture. Vernon Lambright is very helpful.

Hey, Catskills Gal! Have you looked at Recpro.com? They’ve got some narrower recliners that might work. The will send you large swatches of their leathers for just a few dollars so you can see the actual color and match, etc. Good luck! (Jane O.)

Recliners for View/Navion V
Are you part of either of the awesome View/Navion Facebook groups? If so, check those sites for some great input on replacing the sofa with recliners. I know there are people who have done so with both the RecPro (do it yourself) and the Lambright (they can install).

Our passenger seat reclines and has a foot rest, but is motorized. I wouldn't consider it as a replacement for an easy chair. Have you looked at Euro recliners? They have a smaller footprint than a standard recliner, or look at wallhuggers.
