RV road coverage

It’s that time of year here in New England to start planning road trips. We’ve never had an issue on the road that required assistance and hope that our advance planning will save us from that experience. However, the best laid plans of mice and men . . . Our Good Sam road coverage is up for renewal and GS has been sending multiple reminders. At one point a few years ago we had Coach Net. Don’t recall why we didn’t renew but now it’s time to choose one or t’other. The premium for their all inclusive plans are within $20.00 of each other so pricing of the policy isn’t really an issue. I’ve read plenty of sad stories on these boards about GS emergency responses but few comments about Coach Net. My primary concern is if my Winni Navion diesel breaks down, I want it towed to a facility authorized to work on Sprinters, not just any MB dealer. Any discussion out there in favor of one or the other or a third option?

We have a motorhome that is new to us. We use to be in a travel trailer and I never thought of roadside assistance for the trailer. We are looking at FMCA Roadside Assistance after reading about it on many forums.
