If you have the one we have on our'14 Journey, stationary height looks like a boomerang, you're doing something wrong! Ours is AMAZING. Have you turned on the amplifier? It sux without that as they all do.

One more thought.... based on experience. The P.O of our Sunstar really messed up the OTA antenna wiring in an attempt to install a Winegard satellite dish and rear TV. If you are not the original owner, you might want to unscrew the amp and source switch plate from the wall and make sure things are connected.

i just did a post with the same problem. the king jack antenna is a piece of junk. i replaced mine 3 times under warranty. i finally said the heck with it and ripped it off the roof. i bought a winegard razar automatic antenna. it works great, now it is a bit expensive. the antenna finds the strongest signal and and locks onto those freqs. it will find other freqs and show their location also. it works good and i am very happy with my purchase.

I like the greasing the connections, can we reach the antenna output connection from up through the inside access (direction knob)??

The external antenna test didn’t go well.. home is a poor test location (tv transmitters may be seen from here (from the sixth floor, above the trees)) Will try the test from the Delaware beaches.

The linear amp makes a difference..

LTE filter?

Anyone familiar with an LTE filter?

I’m going to try one (channel 14-51) on upcoming trip. I know that I will have to replace it after the “UHF repacking “ is complete (with a channel 14-35) .

We have one regular campground where we camp in the shadow of a cell tower and tv reception is already borderline edge or fringe

Google “LTE TV filter”
