Remote TV Speakers in a Minnie Winnie 22M

The main TV in the Minnie Winnie 22M has a very small speaker on the bottom-right corner. When traveling seated at the dinette, guests cannot hear the TV over the road noise. I have purchased the following three items:The OontZ speaker contains two discrete speakers inside the triangular case, and with 14 watts, it sounds great and even has good Bass. The Bluetooth Transmitter works clearly, but sadly does have an audio lag. When the lack of synchronization bothers you too much, you can switch-over to the 10' long 3.5mm cable. Please see three pictures below.
Thanks, Eagle5
The Bluetooth 5.0 Speaker and Transmitter

The Transmitter plugged into the back of the TV. It also has a USB Cable which powers the Transmitter.

This speaker location will work well with the 10' 3.5mm cable, should the latency be too annoying.

Well, my situation is very different. In the RV my hearing aids are plugged into a device (Phonax TV Link) and I have no problem. For the most part we watch TV using speakers for my DW (who can hear a fly burp on top of a flag pole) and I have streaming to the hearing aids.

I mention all that because when it comes to watching DVD or Apple TV the hearing aids don't work. The TV Link has a 3.5 mini plug and the technology of today has one of two problems related to me. One, no 3.5 plug in on the device, or two, when a 3.5 mini plug is plugged in it disables the speakers.

Ok, ok, to the point. I am very interested in any device that will plug into the USB that would provide audio out by any means mentioned.

Sorry for the long winded post, wonder if others have this problem.

Hi Wayne,
Perhaps this device for USB to Audio Output would work for you? I am not certain, as I have never tried it.
The solution I mentioned above on this thread might work for you too. The Bluetooth Transmitter will link to two different devices. You can transmit to both your hearing aids and the Oontz speaker simultaneously. The TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver does have latency, and when paired to two devices, it will have even more latency. On some shows, it doesn't matter, but when it does, use the 10' cable, and place the speaker closer to you, and further away from your dear wife.
Thanks, Eagle5

Curious. I didn’t think the tv would work while driving the RV I remember one time trying it but once I started moving it would shut off. Am I correct or did you do something to allow tv to work while moving

Hi Lance
If I were to play a DVD in the dash-mounted player, yes, it will shut-off unless the parking brake is set. The TV in the overhead berth will work while underway.
