Rear TV mount for 2019 22M
Hi - I wanting to add a TV to the bedroom in a 22M there is a base bracket on the wall in the corner what do I need to mount a TV to it? Some sort of adjustable arm I'm sure but wondered if it has to be a Winnebago part or would any brand work.
Thanks
Ben

Hi Ben,
I have the exact same year & model, so I took four pictures for you. It is a fixed-mount bracket, and if it were me, would order it from Winnebago.
Overview
Looking up from the bottom
Horizontal mounting position, measured from back wall
Vertical mounting position, measured from ceiling
Good luck; Eagle5

Hi Eagle5 thank you! Its just what I needed to see. We haven't picked up the coach yet but will in a couple weeks. Is there a box of buttons somewhere that controls what is displayed on the rear TV? Like cable, antenna or DVD? I also wondered if it'd be practical/possible to lower it some it seems awfully high up.

Hi Ben,
The TV in the back takes input from the motorhome cable, so either DVD Player, Cable TV, or over-the-air TV; same as the front TV.
If the TV were any larger, or not mounting at the ceiling level, you would be bumping into it as you move around to get into the Queen bed on that side. Also, since you are laying down in bed, the viewing angle is actually just right.
Please note that Winnebago also has a corner box with 120 VAC power and the Cable outlet (as seen in the second picture.) You might like to purchase that built-up part too, if it is available.

I didn't think about that if I lowered it. I'm downsizing from a 31 foot class A and am used to lots of room lol! When I look at the pic I only see the coax cable are there more I'm just not seeing? Thats why I was wondering how the input was selected. If there is a cable for each - Air, Cable and DVD then I would do it on the TV like home.
We're supposed to pick it up in a couple weeks. I'm just snowbound, bored and curious how things will work on the coach.
Thanks
Ben

Eagle5 is the Go To guy for the 22M. We upgraded from 2 Travatos to our 2021 22M. Ours came from the factory with the rear tv installed. To us, it was mounted at just the right height. Our only real issue is occasionally trying to locate the remotes.

Hi Ron; nice of you to say, and of course many of us are becoming the Go To guys. The 22M is a great versatile motorhome.
Hi Ben; Looking at on picture #2, you will see the triangular box wherein the TV gets its 120 VAC power and the cable feed. The inverter installed on mine (1,000 watts @ 120 VAC) powers that outlet, plus the outlet at the front TV, and the outlet down-low and to the right-side of the Queen bed. If you are plugged into shore power, all outlets are powered directly from the PUD. If you are on Cable TV input, then both TVs are on Cable TV, and can be tuned to different channels. Same thing for over-the-air antenna input.
Thanks, Eagle5

Eagle5, is this the factory-equipped rear TV? Do you know the brand/model? Wondering if you're happy with the features and quality. I'm thinking about adding a rear TV, but would definitely want something that supports ChromeCast, or some other way to stream video from my phone or laptop. Thanks!

Hi Mark,
The rear TV is an Insignia, but I believe any 24" flat screen would do nicely. The quality of this factory-equipped TV is just fine, and since you would only be watching it while camped, the speaker volume is loud enough. I believe you should be able to get a 24" Smart TV to support WiFi style TV streaming.
While I am happy with the quality of the stock front and the rear TVs, I have found that the bigger TV in the front ( the one that came standard with the 22M in 2018) is not loud enough to hear if somebody is watching a movie while you are underway. Because of that, I have this remote speaker which remedies the problem.
Did you just get your 2018 22M?
Welcome to the forum.

We bought it new 3.5 years ago. But we’ve spent enough time in it now, that we have some ideas on improvements we’d like to make. Thanks for the info!
