Trying to find out how to update RandMcNally GPS on Winnebago View D 2018.
Only thing I find is to download to Windows or Mac which doesn’t work for Apple ipad. I’m stumped.

You remove a SD card from your radio/GPS and use it to update the software. First you download a “RND Dock” program to your desktop computer. Then you insert the SD card into a card reader on the computer. The Dock program updates the maps and sometimes operating software to the card. When you reinsert the card in your radio/GPS your dash device is updated.

Simple isn’t simple if you only have a tablet not the actual computer.. Have an apple computer BUT it has maxed out on updated IOS & I don’t have it with me.
There hasn't been a large update in quite awhile. Therefore there shouldn't be an emergency to update. It is nice to have the system up to date but it will continue to work perhaps missing some updates for poi or construction. Nothing to be upset about.
If you don't have a computer borrow one or try a local library.
