I have had to use mine to start a relative's vehicle with a totally dead battery 2 different times. No issues so far. I like having this in addition to cables as I do a fair amount of jeeping in the back country and don't always have a 2nd jeeper with me. I did my homework on these battery packs to increase my chances of a self-rescue should I have a battery problem. No cell coverage where I go... Between this and the Garmin InReach Mini I'm comfortable!
