Picked up our new 2018 Cambria 30J...

Picked up our new 2018 Cambria 30j yesterday. We're like kids in a candy store! This is our 4th RV, our second Winnebago...last one was an Aspect.
One question for Cambria owners...cannot find the switch to turn on lights at kitchen? Tried all the switches, but nothing. They worked on the walk thru....hmmm. Time to pull out that huge Winnebago bag of info...
Next week is our shake down cruise a couple hours away. Time to give WalMart, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond some of our retirement money.
We're seasoned RV'rs, but have been without one for 3 years, so we really feel like newbies...with a little bit of knowledge.
Our dogs are very excited to get back on the road...anyone else buy their Rv's or get into RVing because of pets...or am I the only one out there (seriously doubt that!)
Safe Travels Everyone and hope to see you down the road!

You know we have the Aspect, but our kitchen lights for above sink are right by the thermostat. I looked at Cambria pics on Winnebago site and didn't see a light switch there...any luck finding? Maybe by door at top of entrance steps? Curious!

Congrats on the new rig. Let's see some photos! Enjoy outfitting the new RV and have a fun trip. (And yes, we absolutely bought an RV so that our dog could go with us. )

Found the light switch...not on the wall, but on each light itself....which is nice so you don't have to have all the lights on at once. Head bump moment!

Enjoy the new RV. One of the main reasons that we got an RV was to bring the dogs with us as we travel. They enjoyed it immensely and we enjoyed having him with us.

Congratulations! We fave a 2017 Cambria 30J and love it. We moved up to it from a 25ft Winnebago Via due to adding a second dog and needing a little more room. Hope you enjoy it.

I certainly hope you bought an EXTENDED Warranty PLAN! Or fatten your wallet!
My new 30J had these 1st yr. replacements: Several windows, Microwave, transfer switch, every LED light replaced at least 3 times, Radio, rear camera, daylight showing when two slides were opened, $7,000. invested in the chassis to get it to drive straight, replaced the fiberglass transfer panel where the door hits the pavement 4 times(only 10 inch clearance), Air bag light. The list goes on and on.
Sadly, Winnebago has dropped any pretense of quality to just get the product out the door and sold. The vehicle is not trustworthy. Not my recommended company to do business with again after 3 winnies.

Moonie,
Very sorry for your experience with your 30j. Yes, we did buy the extended warranty. We've previously had an Aspect (same layout) and ended up taking it to Winnebago to have some problems taken care of properly...the dealership wasn't helpful. All was right after our visit to Winnebago.
What year is your 30j? Did your dealer help you at all? Did you have the time to get the rig to the manufacturer?
Again, very sorry for your troubles. What were your other Winnies and did you have issues with those also?

Moonie sorry you had so many problems. Fortunately our experience has been much better with Winnebago.
