Question Need help with Aspect 30J

We just purchased a 2018 Winnebago Aspect 30J with the option for the front drivers and passenger seats to swivel around to face the living area when parked. However, we are unable to find any instruction in the multitude of Manuals provided as to how to turn the chairs around. We've tried doing it clockwise and counter-clockwise and are unable to get the chairs to turn around to face the living area. Any help in how to do this without breaking something will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

The description is more complicated than the actual process, but....

Should have two "paddles" on the centerline side of your seats. One allows you to slide the seat fwd and back. The other is the swivel release.

Release and slide the seats as far back as they will go. Then, pull the swivel release and rotate the chairs.

The driver's seat is likely more complicated. First, collapse the steering column as far as you can, then tilt the steering wheel up as far up as possible. Then swivel the chair. You may need to collapse the seat back toward the seat to facilitate swiveling the chair past the steering wheel. Then, adjust the seat back.

Do it once or twice, and will become second nature.

Thank you SO much for your help. You would think they'd have something in their literature about swiveling the chairs.. but Nooooooooooooooo... that would make too much sense. LOL! I will have to go out in the morning and try your suggestion.
Thank you for your service to our Amazing Country.

Well, I went out this morning and tried it again. It still goes half way and stops, regardless of which way we try to turn it. We have to take it back to LaMesa RV to have the SAT and DirecTV receivers installed and a few other things fixed, so we'll have them look at the chairs. There may be something wrong with them. I am not fond of paying for something that doesn't work, so I'm hopeful that LaMesa can fix whatever's keeping the chairs from swiveling. Thanks again for your help.

It's possible that a wire harness under the seat is getting in the way- been reported on view models in the past.

NYBobbo,
Anything is possible... but I can't figure it out, and hubby is fed up with trying... LOL!
All I am hoping for at this point is that LaMesa can figure out why they're not swiveling. We have an appointment on Tuesday to get the SAT and DirecTV receivers installed and I want them to figure out why they're not working as advertised. One of the reasons we bought the Aspect was that the seats did swivel so we could have more seating available for guests in a smaller RV.

Turns out you were 100% correct! We dropped it off today to have the SAT and Receivers Installed, and one of their shop guys was there, and our Service Lady asked him to take a look and see why it's not swiveling. He 'untangled' the wiring harness and got the passenger seat to swivel. Told us to make sure that if we swiveled it counter-clockwise to face the living area, to swivel it clockwise to keep from wrapping the harness around the base of the seat. He couldn't get the Driver's seat to swivel, but they'll work on that one while it's in the "RV Hospital"... So thanks for your insight. I appreciate it!!
