Mirror Question

I have a 2011 Itasca 31J, the top part of the mirror is electric adjustable. The bottom part does not move even manually. The issue is I would like to move it out more to see more of my blind spot. Am I missing something or is this the way they are suppose to be?

I would expect an adjustment to loosen, perhaps an allen key to the bottom of the mount, then turn the whole thing out while adjusting the electrical part back to still see that part well?

The bottom mirror is just held by pressure and is sometimes relatively hard to move. I just had a camera installed on my 12 Aspect on the right side and it integrates right into the current radio system. I posted the brand on the aspect/cambria website. This might be a solution for ya https://aspectcambriarvforum.forumot...nstalled-today

Probaby just stuck. They're pretty hard to move to adjust, but you just have to keet trying. They're set that way because of the vibration they have to endure. Try gripping the black outer shell with your fingers, and just use your thumbs to try to move it. You may have to press hard. CAVEAT: Be careful, don't hurt yourself.

I took some of the advice from up above and put a little more pressure on the mirrors and they did move. Thanks for the help.

it is a manual effort, you may want to spray some lubricant like WD40 to loosen any sediment or corrosion of the workings behind the mirror

If you loosen the Allen screw/bolt at the bottom do use thread lock (that blue stuff) when you tighten it else you will find the mirror start to freely turn from side to side while you are driving down the road, well it may start doing that on its own without the use of the HEX KEY ! yep a minor design issue.
