Question Minnie Winnie 25B Tank Heater Pads

Howdy, new 2017 25B owner here (as of 6/21/21), just searching around, saw another 25B newbie posted, thought I'd say hi. Our tank heater pad thing fell off Tuesday (day after we drove it home), and I need to figure out best place to ask how others have securely reglued those so they don't go dragging down the highway. Help appreciated!
We also plan to drain and refill our water tank, so helpful info above, thanks.

Hi Winniecats,
One of my two tank heater blankets did the same thing. Just clean it up with car wash soap and a rag, let it dry, and then liberally apply Silicone Sealer to the part which is drooping. Secure it in place with electrical tape, looping all the way around the tank. One cured (which takes about a week) the tape is no longer needed, but I just left the tape in-place on mine.
Welcome to the Forum.

Thanks for the tank heater pad trick. Mine are still attached but I expect someday to look under and find them dangling by the wires. Curious, how cold have you found your tank & drain valve heaters good for? My black & gray tank valves froze at a sustained 25 degrees. My dealer actually warned me not to trust the heaters below that. Kind of useless then IMHO.

Hi Father of Six,
Well, at least we have seven degrees of freezing freedom. Twenty-six degrees Fahrenheit as a limit is good to know. Since we don't often see much below freezing where we travel, the usefulness of the tank heaters is relative.
Thanks, Eagle5
