LED awning light on Minnie Winnie Premier

We just purchased a 2014 Minnie Winnie Premier 27QP which was pretty much brand new. Only a few minor issues.

One that I can’t figure out fully on my own. The electric awning works just fine but the LED awning lights don’t work. There isn’t a separate fuse for the lights that I see. Any tips on where to start troubleshooting? I’m wondering if they are just non functioning.

Maybe check switch to be sure it is functioning, i.e. passing electricity when turned on. Also check voltage of wire going to switch. If all that is good, check wire that connects to lights if assessable. If wire is assessable, run a 12V directly from known source to check lights.

If you don't already own one, get a 12VDC lighted-handle probe from a car parts store. It has a sharply pointed tip and an alligator clip return lead. Clip the return lead to a ground source (run a piece of light gauge wire to the nearest ground point) and push the pointed end through the insulation of a the questionable 12 volt supply wire. If live, the lighted handle will light up.
