Jack-Knife jack up

Hello all,

I'm new here and new to the RV world. I had my 2019 Outlook for all of a day before I messed something up. So on my jack-knife sofa I pulled up on the strap to open it up instead of pulling down, and the strap ripped right out. I checked the strap and apparently it just came loose, and the webbing is good. But, I was wondering if anyone had knowledge on how to get it back on there without taking the whole couch apart. It's a tight little hole there to get the strap on. Again, I'm brand new to all of this so please bear with me.

In my 2008 Itasca Cambria Class C, there was a large cutout in the floor under the jack-knife sofa allowing items with more height to be stored in that particular basement compartment underneath it. I'd look in the outside compartment underneath it and see if you can access it from below.
