Is there a width restriction with Winn. in certain states

Hello again. Winnebago's site states that the width of it's motor homes exceed 96' & may be too wide to travel in certain states?? Is that true? Maybe just an older, out of date statement? Thanks.

Only in the District of Columbia is it 8' wide, while all states allow 8½', with some exceptions:

Fortunately, I wouldn't want to drive my MH in the District of Columbia. I'll leave that up to my toad.

There are some very tight toll booths in the north east, you can see the mirror scrapes as you approach.
