FWIW: I had to call Rand myself. Seems I needed to download NET 3.5 SP1 on my computer before Rand Doc would download.

Oddly, the Rand McNally SD card update after six years took about one (1) minute which does not seem reasonable compared to updating a Garmin unit which took me 45 minutes. And this was only one (1) year since last Garmin update.

Nevertheless, I still don't care for the Rand McNally system as I don't think it is user friendly. Plan to order the Garmin RV 1090 which includes an immense amount of helpful information for RV purposes and is user friendly.

I guess things have changed then. Previously, if you called RAND they pretended they had never heard of Xite and didn't know what you were talking about.

I guess now, since Riverpark has moved on from Rand McNally to NavNgo GPS for all new systems they have handed RAND stuff over to them.
