I did that in my 27Q. I tried to punch a small (5/16") hole through the Styrofoam between the vent opening and the nearest ceiling light (about 2 feet) but seemingly ran into a cross member about halfway. Ended up using a piece of 1/2" surface mount wiremold from Home Depot. Worked like a charm and its virtually unnoticeable.
