Chemical Smell?

So the wife and I are out in the RV for a few days in the California Gold Country. It’s hot, over 100. When we close up our 2019 Mini Winnie and turn the air on it gets very strong chemical smell. I’m sure it’s not from the AC, I bet it’s from the sun creating above average temperatures on the roof and the side facing the sun. I would assume the materials used to build the coach are Gasing? I’m not having much luck researching this topic on the health effects of these gases. Any help or thoughts on this topic would be appreciated. I cannot handle it anymore so I’m sitting under the awning, in the shade, with a fan blowing directly on me. Such a bummer that a person cannot stay inside a new RV to get out of the hot weather. I bet the fumes are toxic and there are health consequences to exposure?
Thanks, Allen

I forgot to mention we store the MW out of the sun under a very nice metal RV port so it does not sit in the sun at home. I guess it’s gassing time. Allen

I would guess it is the same as "new car smell" and that is all the fumes that come out of seats, dash, carpeting, etc. so a new RV has all those in spades! Same happens in new mobile homes as well.
How toxic? Unknown, as we often just go with the idea that the regs will protect us but who knows when those change.
