Cab overhead water damage 29b

Have had it less then a day and decided to replace the heavy weight tv for a flat screen. After wrestling with the old tv, found water damage under it. Removed entire entertainment cabinetry and major damage, very wet wood on both sides of the metal channel that runs between the driver and passenger doors. Needless to say not very happy at this point but nothing I can’t deal with myself. Looks like the wood is under the side walls and am wondering how do I peel them back for full replacement. It has been leaking for a very, very, very long time and it was supposed to have been looked at by an RV dealer before we acquired it, I took the word of previous owner, big mistake.
